EUvsDisinfo is a pioneering initiative by the East StratCom Task Force, part of the European External Action Service, dedicated to countering disinformation, particularly from the Russian Federation. Established in 2015, the project aims to enhance public awareness and resilience against digital misinformation impacting the European Union and its neighboring regions. With a multilingual approach, EUvsDisinfo monitors and analyzes pro-Kremlin disinformation, producing a robust database with over 17,000 documented cases, alongside insightful articles and research that address evolving disinformation tactics.

Their team of communication, journalism, and social science experts engage actively in outreach, providing training for EU institutions, governments, journalists, and civil society. By participating in international discourse, EUvsDisinfo serves as a vital resource for political leaders, researchers, and media entities. Their mission is clear: to help citizens discern accurate information in an increasingly complex digital landscape, fortifying democratic societies against misinformation's pervasive reach.
