**Brand Description: Clear the Shelters**

Clear the Shelters is a transformative initiative established by NBC 5 and Telemundo 39, dedicated to finding loving homes for shelter pets. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the program has successfully facilitated over 1 million adoptions across North Texas since its inception. The annual MEGA Adoption Event, scheduled for August 17-18, 2024, at Fort Worth's Will Rogers Memorial Center, showcases the commitment of Clear the Shelters to connect potential pet owners with a variety of adoptable animals, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits.

During this two-day event, over 1,200 animals will be available for adoption, with very affordable fees of $25 or less. All animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Attendees will enjoy live streaming coverage, and early registration is encouraged for expedited adoption. In collaboration with local shelters and sponsors like Hill's Pet Nutrition and Greater Good Charities, Clear the Shelters continues to raise awareness about the importance of pet adoption and animal welfare in the community.
